Lucky Boy Rescue
A 2RHINO Foundation campaign to launch a pit bull–focused rescue program and keep blocky-headed “lucky boys” with their people.

Launching a real rescue for dogs nobody trusts on paper.

Lucky Boy Rescue is the first campaign of the 2RHINO Foundation: a pit bull–focused rescue program in its launch phase. We’re raising seed funding to cover 501(c)(3) formation, core startup costs, and the first dogs and humans in the program — starting in South Florida and designed to scale.

What this supports

Startup costs for a real rescue — and the first lives it helps.

This is not a metaphor and not just a one-time bail-out fund. Donations to Lucky Boy Rescue are used for the hard, unglamorous pieces of launching a legitimate rescue program and proving it works in the real world:

One of those early cases is the original “Lucky Boy” that gave this program its name — but the structure we’re building is meant to serve many dogs like him, not just one.

Why start here

Pit bull–type dogs and their humans are often one crisis away from being separated — a housing change, a bill, a lost job. Traditional rescues are stretched thin, and many don’t have a way to support the dog–human pair as a unit.

Lucky Boy Rescue is a campaign of 2RHINO Foundation. Until our formal nonprofit status is finalized, donations are processed through public fundraising platforms and may not be tax-deductible. Questions? Email foundation@2rhino.org.
